Terms of Service

Where 2 Buy is a price comparison tool that helps users in Canada and the United States find where to buy products for less. The Service aggregates publicly available pricing information from third-party sources, displays store locations on a map, and surfaces weekly store flyers. Pricing data is retrieved in real time from external APIs and is provided for informational purposes only.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

By using the Service you agree that you will not:

• Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or any non-human means to access the Service or its underlying APIs.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
• Transmit harmful, deceptive, or unlawful content through any input field.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit data obtained from the Service without our prior written consent.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.

Paid plans (Saver and Pro) are governed by the following terms:

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Your credit card will be charged on the same day each month.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal in your account settings. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access until the period ends but will not be charged again.
• Plan changes: Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Free tier: The Free plan has no charge and may be subject to usage limits and advertisements at our discretion.

The Where 2 Buy name, logo, and application code are our proprietary intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. User-generated content (e.g., your display name) remains your property; by submitting it you grant us a limited licence to store and display it within the Service. See our Intellectual Property Policy for details.

The Service integrates with third-party APIs and may link to external retailer websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Where 2 Buy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on inaccurate pricing data. Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that harms the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time via account settings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
